What Is Your Image of Welcoming?
For the Coming Social Transformation We Will Need Places to Party

Bar do Amanhã invites you to this workshop to investigate collaboratively other forms of hospitality, in a transversal, peripheral, itinerant and radical way.

We will share the ways how cultures of welcoming can be organised. Be it with your friends, an organisation, a bar or a nightclub:

We will do exercises to rethink the role of one person caring another.
We will taste together ingredients to create cocktails.
We will try to go beyond the given forms of “good taste”, elegance, or refinement.
With our different hospitality backgrounds, bodies, ritualised protocols and organisational methods, we would like to engage in a common learning process and exchange of experiences.

And because for the coming social transformation we will need places to party, after this workshop, we will organise an evening open to everyone, where the acquired knowledge will be materialised in a party or extravagant event designed by the group.

November 17th to November 18th 2022, with a closing event on the 19th.

Participants can choose between two groups:
– one early group (11h – 13h)
– one late group (19h – 21h)
– closing event: November 19th, 19h for everybody

Participation is free of charge.

In case of need we will provide child care for participants of the early group. If so, please let us know.
